Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard to enriching the lives of people with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do.

Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.

We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over national and regional awards!

We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

18. Here at Fairview Gardens we are different in lots of ways (that’s what makes us so interesting) with our ages ranging between 27 to 40.
19. We are all mobile and independent around our home, we need a lot of encouragement and support to keep our rooms and the house clean and tidy. We all have different support needs some of these include Anxiety, Autism, and learning disabilities.
20. Our staff team is fully trained in all areas we need support. We help our staff team to understand our support needs
21. Each one of us has our own interests however we all like to watch a movie, go the pictures, and go to the pub every now and then as a group
22. Activities we all love to do range from being outdoors visiting museums, and national parks to staying in and playing video games. Some of us love to cook and enjoy the whole experience from planning, and buying the ingredients to sitting down and enjoying the final dish.
23. All we want is to live our best lives possible, we are all very easy-going lads. We like to have fun but also hibernate in our rooms sometimes.
24. We like staff that has similar interests to us, they must be kind, caring and compassionate. We would not get along with people who are bossy, pushing or running around
25. We always have 1 member of staff on shift so lone working is required. We do have other staff throughout the week supporting with 1:1s. The shifts now usually start at 10am and finish at 10am the following morning including a sleep.

Your values:

We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience. This is why we're really passionate about recruiting to individuals’ values and we recruit people from all walks of life; From people with vast experience in a support worker or care assistant role, from people with lived experiences who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to people with no experience at all.

Naturally it is important too that you share our company values - We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable, which are at the heart of everything we do and ensure that we deliver high quality, consistent care and support. People's values are important to use, so we look for people with:

- Patience
- Empathy, compassion and sensitivity to others
- A strong work ethic
- Reliability
- Honesty
- Determination - A problem solver
- Resilience
