Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of
‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy
‘Best Lives Possible’. We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over national and regional awards!
We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by
investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.
Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
We are a proud couple who have achieved good things in our lives, we try not to let things get us down but at times this may be unavoidable.
Our smiles and positive attitudes are inspirational to all who know us. We are very close and our staff team at Redcar Road are hardworking and great support workers.
We love different activities from going out to staying in and watching TV, listening to music.
Our families are important to us, and we would like you to keep them updated with how we are and what we have been up to, they would really appreciate the update.
My Staff team need to be trained in catheter / stoma care. Our health and disabilities are Parkinsons, schizophrenia and other health concerns, as we get older our support needs will change and we may require more specific support with our health as times change. We require 1 x staff member to cover day-1- 10-23pm day-2- 07-10am sleepover – 23-07am.
We have our own 1-1 support and staff have 3-hour breaks that need covering on Tuesday-Wednesday- Thursday.
Your values:
We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience. This is why
we're really passionate about recruiting to individuals’ values and
we recruit people from all walks of life; From people with vast experience in a support worker or care assistant role, from people with lived experiences who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to people with no experience at all.
Naturally it is important too that you share our company values - We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable, which are at the heart of everything we do and ensure that we deliver high quality, consistent care and support. People's values are important to use, so we look for people with:
- Patience
- Empathy, compassion and sensitivity to others
- A strong work ethic
- Reliability
- Honesty
- Determination - A problem solver
- Resilience
