Situation
I urgently need assistance providing care for seven cats (two adult cats and five young kittens) at their remote home address in Carmarthenshire.
The owner (my sister) is currently in a medical facility following an emergency and cannot return home. Her partner must remain with her to provide support and attend to police and legal matters related to her bail conditions, meaning no one can be at the house to care for the animals.
Requirements
We are seeking a reliable and experienced individual or organisation for temporary care.
* Home Visits/House Sitting: Visit the remote property at least twice per day (ideally three times per day given the kittens) to feed the cats and ensure their safety. House‑sitting (staying overnight) would be the most secure option.
* Specialised Kitten Care: Regular feeding, checks, and litter tray cleaning. Must be aware of the kittens’ ages to ensure they are at the correct developmental stage (e.g., still nursing, or just beginning to eat solid food).
* Welfare Checks: Diligent in checking that all seven animals are healthy, especially given the stress of the owner's absence and the vulnerability of the kittens.
* Duration: The care will be needed for a period that is currently unknown but likely to last at least a few weeks while medical recovery and legal/bail conditions are fulfilled.
