Strategic Freight Sales Manager - Bristol
We are looking for a Strategic Freight Sales Manager to drive business growth and manage high-value, strategic accounts. This role focuses on developing new customer revenue, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, and delivering results across complex, high-impact accounts.

Day to day:
Own and grow a portfolio of named strategic accounts, driving new business and exceeding revenue targets.
Prospect, qualify, and engage potential customers to maintain a strong and active sales pipeline.
Schedule and execute productive sales calls and meetings, ensuring consistent follow-up and opportunity management.
Navigate opportunities through the full sales process using advanced sales techniques and internal resources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions for customer needs, including cost-benefit analyses and logistics planning.
Support on-boarding and smooth transition of new accounts, ensuring accurate documentation and customer introductions.
Maintain accurate records in the CRM and provide timely reporting on sales activities.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing and closing large, strategic accounts from a freight forwarding setting
Must have experience with a UK based freight forwarder
Strong knowledge of supply chain concepts, process mapping, and cost drivers.
Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Confident, persuasive, and able to influence decisions at all levels.
Fluent in English and able to meet customers off-site regularly.
