Job Description
3. Strategic Financial Leadership
4. Lead the formulation and execution of the financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives and long-term value creation
5. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation across the lines of businesses to optimize resource deployment and return on investment
6. Ensure sound and timely financial reporting financial risk management practices, internal controls, and compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements
7. Support with the financial communication of the company including investors relations
8. Governance, Compliance & Administration
9. Serve as the lead financial representative in Boards and other Committee engagements, ensuring timely and insightful investment reporting
10. Represent the company on various Boards contributing to sound governance, financial oversight, and strategic decision-making
11. Investment & Portfolio Oversight
12. Actively support portfolio companies in their strategic development, capital planning, and value creation
13. Contribute to the growth of the investment portfolio through active participation in key M&A transactions and integration planning
14. Leadership, Culture & Stakeholder Engagement
15. Inspire and lead high-performing finance teams across regions, fostering a culture of performance, integrity, and innovation
16. Champion cross-functional collaboration and influence key stakeholders-boards, investors, and regulators-by translating financial insights into business strategy
17. Demonstrate emotional intelligence and agility to lead across diverse cultures and evolving business environments
The Successful Applicant
18. Master's degree in business administration (MBA), or equivalent; or Chartered Accountant or equivalent with an advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or Business
19. 15+ years in senior-level finance leadership roles in large, complex international organisations
20. Familiarity with M&A or Private Equity would be beneficial
21. Strategic business planning and financial management experience
22. Proven experience in capital markets, strategic finance, M&A, risk, and stakeholder engagement
23. Strategic mindset with strong financial and commercial acumen
24. Strong leadership and ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
25. Exceptional communication and negotiation capabilities
26. Visionary thinker with a focus on operational excellence
27. Ability to communicate in English fluently (oral and written) an absolute must, French is highly desired and will be a real advantage
