Accounting Operations & Financial Oversight** Manage *full-cycle accounting*, including *accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger entries, and reconciliations*.* Prepare and analyze *financial statements, reports, and analyses* to support decision-making.* Ensure the *accuracy and integrity of financial records* while maintaining compliance with accounting principles.* Oversee *month-end and year-end closing procedures*, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.*2. Financial Reporting & Compliance** Prepare and present *financial reports for senior management*, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.* Ensure compliance with *federal and provincial tax regulations*, including corporate tax filings and HST remittances.* Support *internal and external audits*, providing necessary documentation and ensuring audit readiness.*3. Cash Flow & Financial Planning** Monitor *cash flow* and provide recommendations to ensure financial stability.* Assist in *budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning* with senior management.* Provide financial insights to help optimize company performance.*4. Process Improvement & Special Projects** Identify opportunities for *streamlining accounting processes and financial reporting systems*.* Collaborate with the *Director of Sales & Finance* on special projects.* Support the *implementation of new accounting software or financial tools* as required.* Organize *regular team meetings* to review performance and identify process improvements.*5.
