Technical Trainer / Instructor (Engineering)
About the Role:

Helensburgh
9/75 (9-day working fortnight) or 4 day working week (days can vary depending on training delivery schedule)

Key Responsibilities:
- Fully integrated member, delivering technical training in support of training requirements.
- Mentor trainees with enthusiasm, ensuring the highest training standards.
- Support practical and theory training for Royal Navy and industry partners.
- Conduct reviews of training documentation for continuous improvement.
- Maintain compliance with Trident Programme and Company requirements.
Skills:
- Experience as an Instructor or Technical Trainer in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or Physics.
- Background in instructional delivery.
- Strong co-operation, organizational, and workload management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Flexibility for shift work, motivated, reliable, and deadline-oriented.
- SWS (Strategic Weapon System) experience.

Business Environment
Lockheed Martin UK – Strategic Systems (LMUK SS) is the single contractor providing specialist Waterfront In-Service Support to one of the Royal Navy's Submarine Programs. The company provides the Ministry of Defence (MoD) with safe, efficient and responsive support. LMUK SS, as part of the ABL Alliance with AWE and Babcock, is also responsible for the management of operations at RNAD Coulport. Looking to the future, LMUK SS supports the joint US and UK submarine design efforts.
