Job Description
The role: where people meet purpose
As Community Engagement Lead, you’ll play a key role in launching and growing our presence across South Shropshire.
This is more than a networking role, it’s about building genuine relationships, raising awareness of what great care looks like, and connecting people to a service that can truly change lives.
You’ll be the face of Home Instead in the local community, helping us grow in a way that stays true to who we are.
What you’ll be doing
* Building strong relationships with local healthcare professionals, community groups, charities, and businesses
* Attending events, networking groups, and community activities to promote our service
* Delivering talks and presentations to raise awareness of relationship-led care
* Developing and implementing a local business development plan
* Identifying opportunities to grow our presence and reach new clients
* Tracking leads, partnerships, and engagement activity
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
* Experienced in sales, networking, or community engagement
* A confident communicator with a warm, approachable personality
* Self‑motivated and able to work independently
* Passionate about building relationships and making a difference
* Organised and proactive, with a strong sense of initiativeA driver with access to their own vehicle
Desirable:
* Experience in health and social care or working with older people
