Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Park School, Chipping Norton, OX7 5QH
Salary: £31,650 - £43,000 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term-Time Only
Start: October 2026

4-DAY WORKING WEEK (4DWW) trial: you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours) while still receiving full-time pay. Some schools have already implemented 4DWW or are preparing to roll it out as staffing progresses.
We are seeking a passionate Teacher with SEMH experience to join Park School, a specialist day school for pupils aged 7 to 18 with social, emotional and mental health needs.
Visits to the school are encouraged – please contact the Headteacher for details.
Responsibilities
* Take a creative and therapeutic approach to teaching, tailoring lessons to pupils’ individual needs and delivering the curriculum to maximise achievement and personal development.
* Spend time creating engaging, meaningful learning opportunities for pupils with varied and complex needs.
* Work in a safeguarding-focused environment where pupils are respected and encouraged to participate in their education.
* Work at the Cotswold Lodge site with a small group of pupils.
Requirements
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
* Educated to degree level.
* Experience teaching pupils with SEMH and SEN needs.
* Calm, engaging, resilient, and passionate about helping pupils reach their full potential.
