Key Responsibilities
* Conduct professional product demonstrations for utility-scale energy storage systems, clearly explain complex technical concepts to customers, and support sales presentations by highlighting product advantages, value and successful large-scale applications.
* Engage directly with clients to understand their pain points, utility-scale project requirements and competitive landscape, and identify value-added opportunities for the company’s large-scale storage solutions.
* Develop customized utility-scale ESS solutions in collaboration with internal technical teams based on client needs, and convey customer requirements to the R&D team for product optimization.
* Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for large-scale storage projects, deliver required documents including specifications, user manuals and implementation plans with both technical integrity and business value.
* Provide end-to-end technical support for utility-scale energy storage projects, respond to inquiries, resolve technical issues, and support project delivery and commissioning.
* Conduct market research on utility-scale ESS industry trends and competitor solutions, identify project risks in advance, and provide preventive solutions to support smooth project handover.
Requirements & Skills
* Minimum 5 years of working experience in the EU/UK ESS market, with exposure to utility-scale energy storage.
* Previous experience as Application Engineer (AE) or Sales Engineer (SE) in the ESS industry is preferred.
* Prior working experience in utility companies or ESS developers is a strong plus.
* Familiar with project development requirements and standards for utility-scale ESS projects in the EU/UK.
* Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fluent in English, with legal authorization to work in the relevant country.
