Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
* Reports regional inventory levels and trends to Fleet Managers on a regular basis.
* Work closely with regional commercial group to align Tank and customer requirements.
* Determine from which location/depot each approved booking should be served.
* Execute tank allocation in close collaboration with Operations teams and agents.
* Monitors and discuss vendor performance (depot) and address issues.
* Ensures Tank Status’s are updated correctly in STC operational system.
* Assist Fleet Managers with projects as they arise.
* Analyze improvement related to tank allocation and vendor performance (depots) n.
* Assist Fleet Managers to Monitor and manage inventory levels in depots.
* Optimize combinations of laden and empty moves to minimize costs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in containerized logistics or supply chain management, strong logistical knowledge
* Sound knowledge of Tank Container Specifications and various technical requirements.
* Good analytical skills and eye for detail.
* Good computer skills in MS windows applications
* Strong hands-on mentality and able to work under high demanding conditions.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fluent written and spoken English is required.
