We are a well-established £60+ million turnover construction company, recognised as a leading contractor in the social housing sector across South Wales and the surrounding regions. With a strong pipeline of projects and long-standing partnerships with local authorities, housing associations, and developers, we are seeking a Managing Director to lead the construction arm of our business into its next phase of growth.
The Role
As Managing Director, you will:
* Provide strategic leadership and vision to the business.
* Drive operational excellence, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
* Lead and develop a high-performing senior management team.
* Strengthen relationships with housing associations, local authorities, and key stakeholders.
* Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
* Uphold our reputation for building sustainable communities and driving positive social impact.
* Oversee construction contractual issues.
About You
We are seeking a commercially driven, people-focused leader who can demonstrate:
* Proven senior leadership within the construction sector, ideally with significant social housing experience.
* A track record of leading a business or division at scale (£50m+ turnover preferred).
* Strong financial, commercial, and operational acumen.
* Experience of building long-term client partnerships within social housing.
* Inspirational leadership skills with the ability to motivate and grow teams.
