Based in Faversham, Kent, we're supporting a highly respected, well established and fast growing firm of chartered accountants who are recruiting for a Corporate Tax Manager to join their experienced and very successful tax team.
You will work across both reviewing compliance and providing advisory services to a mixed portfolio of owner managed businesses across Kent, and the South East. A large proportion of the position can be moulded around the right candidates but your primary responsibilities will be to:
1. Assisting with tax advisory work including EIS and share schemes
2. Helping with Mergers, acquisitions, reorganisations and tax due diligence
3. Preparation of R&D tax relief claims
4. Preparing corporation tax computations and returns for larger, more complex companies/groups
5. Overseeing and reviewing the more basic corporation tax compliance function to ensure deadlines are met
6. Supervision of more junior members of staff
