Claims Handler Subsidence, up to £28,000 per annum - remote working
Due to internal promotions, a renowned National Loss Adjusting Organisation are now seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join their specialist Subsidence Team where you will proactively manage and be responsible for your own caseload of subsidence claims.
Continuous training and development is actively encouraged and fully supported.
Key responsibilities:
1. Proactively Manage Subsidence claims through to completion
2. Regularly update Clients, Policyholders and their agents
3. Assist the field team in completing, reports, tasks and answering calls where necessary
4. Ensure referral of work to the field team throughout the day, ensuring correct priorities are communicated and completed and that targets are met on a daily basis
5. Managing identified and reported problems within set timescales to ensure adherence to group processes
6. Maintain a high level of personal competence
7. Actively promote the principle of Treating Customer Fairly
8. Respond to requests and tasks set by the Team Leader or Head of Subsidence and Surveying
9. Undertake any other tasks that are reasonably assigned to you from time to time
Applicant Requirements
About You:
10. Knowledge and understanding of Subsidence in relation to insurance claims
11. Experience of managing technical building claims
12. Have an understanding of Claims Handling
13. Excellent telephone skills
14. Experience and understanding of Customer Service
15. Excellent computer literacy
16. Articulation and good communication skills
17. Flexibility and adaptability
18. The ability to organise own workload
19. The ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
