Job Role: Service Coordinator

Duration: Ongoing
Hours: 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday (40 hours)
Salary: £15.75ph PAYE
My client within the engineering and maintenance sector is currently seeking a Service Operations Coordinator to support its technical service team. The successful candidate will play an important role in coordinating service activities, supporting field engineers, and ensuring a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to incoming customer requests and enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Coordinate and schedule maintenance visits, reactive callouts, follow-up appointments, commissioning tasks, and additional service work.
Plan and organise engineer schedules to ensure efficient use of resources.
Maintain accurate service records, including updating job information within internal systems.
Coordinate the availability of spare parts and equipment required for scheduled service work and repairs.
Support engineers with operational requirements and coordination tasks.Required Skills & Experience:
Strong customer service orientation.
Good IT literacy and experience with business systems.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong command of written and spoken English.
