Base pay range
A leading bank is looking for a Migration Engineer to join their Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and App Volumes Packaging team on a long-term contract basis where they will lead and assist with the VDI migration issues within EMEA.
You will:
* Provide end user & user migration support ensuring application quality and performance through QA & UAT testing of Golden Image.
* Handle deployment tasks, manage user access, and troubleshoot application issues.
* Optimize infrastructure with cluster rebalancing, manage change requests, and support user migrations to ensure smooth transitions.
Experience Required
* Must have strong migration engineering experience.
* Strong Virtual Desktop experience – rolling out, integrating or migrating to VDI.
* EUC experience – supporting a large number of users.
Required to be in office 3 days a week - in Chester or Camberley
