Job Description
This is a full-time position for a highly motivated individual with a passion for cosmetic formulation development and minimum 2 years of bench experience to join our existing team of chemists. Make-up and sun care formulation experience is a plus. The right candidate will be adaptable, able to work at pace, curious and with a keen eye for detail. The position will provide plenty of opportunity for contact, discussion and co-operation with various stakeholders of the business, both internally and externally.
Minimum required qualifications: Educated to BSc level in Chemistry, Biology or Physics and/or SCS diploma, proficient in Office programs, minimum 2 years of cosmetic bench experience
Job Description:
Working on and creating formulations to demonstrate the benefits of using Kobo raw materials, including evaluating stability
Evaluating new raw materials, preparing reports and presentations for internal/external use
Enter all formulations, process and stability info into Kobo system
Prepare formula samples for trade shows and customer events and for use of the sales team
Participate in customer training workshops and events
Participate in trade shows (international), customer visits, webinars, social media content and podcasts as required.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the lab and equipment, calibrating equipment
Source and order raw materials and packaging, manage inventory
