CAMHS in North Highland has been engaged in improvement and development work to reduce waiting times, with the aim of meeting the referral to treatment standard by December 2025. Your work will be a valuable addition to the service and will support this aim. We have a range of psychological therapies professionals, nursing and psychiatry roles within the service across several clinical teams, and we support multidisciplinary working. With 2 existing and established creative therapists in the service, we value the contribution your role can make and you will be well supported to provide assessments and interventions to young people who can benefit from your approach.
Our Creative Therapists are largely based within our Core team, but can be accessed by all clinical teams within CAMHS and therefore can work with a wide variety of presenting difficulties across the age range. Your role will also involve working with parents and partner professionals across education and wider children’s services.
