The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding, installation, and commissioning activities across a wide range of industrial systems and equipment. The role involves both planned preventative maintenance and reactive support to ensure operational reliability and safety standards are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Planned and reactive maintenance on industrial electrical systems
* Fault finding and repair of motors, drives, switchgear, and control systems
* Installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and plant systems
* Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings
* Supporting shutdowns, upgrades, and engineering projects
* Working safely within permit-to-work and isolation procedures
* Maintaining accurate maintenance documentation
* Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and contractors across site
What We're Looking For
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Proven industrial electrical maintenance experience
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
* Experience working with industrial plant equipment and power systems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong commitment to health and safety standards
Desirable Experience
* PLC and control systems knowledge
* HV or authorised person experience
* Experience in heavy industrial, utilities, process plant, or research environments
* Inspection and testing xsngvjr qualifications
* Familiarity with CMMS maintenance systems
