This key position within the IT department involves performing business analysis activities, including identifying, assessing, and defining requirements; managing resources; and serving as a proactive link between our IT teams and business management.
You will ensure IT processes and policies are applied, maintain high standards of documentation and deliverables, and collaborate with Development, MI, Test Teams, and Operational Managers to understand and deliver successful business solutions.
What will you be doing?
* Leading end-to-end business analysis for systems and projects, including requirements gathering, facilitating workshops, conducting business impact analysis, writing technical specifications, User Stories, UI design/specifications, and providing implementation support.
* Promoting team values and working practices such as planning, communication, documentation, and delivery.
* Creating project documentation, analyzing and impact assessing business requirements, and ensuring high standards of accuracy and compliance with IT policies.
* Engaging and communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels, eliciting requirements, and explaining technical solutions clearly.
* Collaborating with internal and external colleagues to design solutions and ensure project outcomes.
* Investigating complex technical and operational processes, producing as-is and to-be process maps.
* Developing recommendations on solutions, assessing business, resource, and cost impacts, and considering long-term scalability.
* Working with training departments, business leads, and end-users to implement and embed process changes.
What are we looking for?
* Previous experience in business analysis.
* Experience implementing software and process solutions.
* Ability to work with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
* Experience working with agile methodologies.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Desirable skills include:
* Experience with case/claims/customer management systems.
* Experience with financial systems, preferably within a legal environment.
* Exposure to SAFe, ITIL, SDLC, or other project management/IT service methodologies.
* Experience in the legal or insurance industries.
