As the Head of Compliance for the UK, you will oversee the compliance function in the UK, coordinating all compliance activities for DLL group entities in the UK. This includes specific themes such as Financial Crime Compliance, Ethics, and Privacy.
Based on compliance risk assessments across the UK, you will allocate compliance resources in liaison with the UK & Ireland manager. This position reports directly to the UK & Ireland manager and functionally to the Head of Compliance Europe. You will also serve as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer for the UK, with direct access and escalation lines to the Group Head of Financial Crime Compliance. You will work closely with management to establish and maintain a unified compliance risk management culture and standards in the UK, driving consistent compliance adherence and sharing best practices with a network of Compliance Officers across Europe.
You are based in the UK, and flexible working arrangements are welcome.
Key Responsibilities
1. Integrate all compliance risk management processes into a coherent framework.
2. Manage local compliance projects ensuring proper implementation of policies and procedures.
3. Monitor compliance activities and incidents, escalating breaches appropriately.
4. Support the business on financial economic crime risks.
5. Engage with local regulators to build strong relationships.
6. Communicate decisions from the Global Compliance team and execute directives.
7. Define KPIs and targets aligned with strategic objectives.
8. Provide coaching and development for the Compliance team.
9. Perform second line reviews related to privacy assessments and incidents.
10. Participate in speak-up investigations and promote ethical behavior.
11. Hold the positions of SMF16 and SMF17.

Essential Qualifications
* 8+ years experience in compliance, risk, legal, or related services in financial institutions.
* Strong understanding of UK and European financial regulations.
* International experience and a solid business background.
* Excellent communication and influence skills, especially with senior management.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* Proven success in complex, international organizations.
* Team player with constructive approach to compliance dilemmas.
* Fluent in English.
