As a Staff Nurse in the cardiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals undergoing investigation, monitoring, or treatment for a range of cardiac conditions. Your role will include assessing patients on admission, planning and implementing care plans, and evaluating outcomes. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support patients recovering from procedures such as angiograms, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies. Monitoring telemetry, recognising cardiac abnormalities, responding to changes in patient condition, and providing post-procedure education and reassurance are all key aspects of the role.
