Salary: £38,662.00 (with an additional shift allowance of 33% potentially applicable)
What You'll Be Doing
As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will play a crucial role in our mission to deliver high-quality naval solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
* Manufacturing and installing ventilation and furniture
* Working to engineering standards, ensuring quality from the start
* Utilizing a variety of hand tools
* Applying your hand skills for both manufacturing and installation
* Interpreting manufacturing and installation drawings
Your Skills and Experience
To thrive in this role, you should bring the following qualifications and experience:
* Modern Apprenticeship certificate (Trade Papers required)
* Strong understanding of SHE, COSHH risks, and manufacturing processes
* Comfortable working in confined spaces and/or at heights
* Safety certifications (e.g., SHE Induction, COSHH awareness, working at height)
* Experience in a major construction or manufacturing environment
