Job Title: Microsoft Dynamics Architect
Salary: Up to £110k + 10% bonus
Client: UK Central Government (via leading consultancy)
Clearance: Must be eligible for SC Clearance (5+ years continuous UK residency)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics Architect to lead the design and delivery of transformative solutions for a UK government agency. Working as part of a high-performing consultancy team, you will shape end-to-end technical strategies across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and the wider Microsoft stack. This is a client-facing role requiring a blend of technical excellence, delivery leadership, and consultative stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead solution architecture and delivery of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Power Pages, and related tools
Own technical governance and product direction, ensuring scalable and sustainable design
Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into robust technical outcomes
Customise and configure Dynamics 365 components using plugins, workflow assemblies, JavaScript, and Azure-integrated functionality
Design and implement solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, WebJobs, and Power BI
Drive agile delivery practices (Scrum), ensuring continuous improvement and collaboration within cross-functional teams
Support pre-sales, bids, solution estimation, and proposal development
Contribute to internal capability and practice growth
Required Experience
Extensive hands-on experience architecting and delivering solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing) and Power Platform
Strong skills in Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Pages, Azure Functions, LogicApps, and Service Bus
Proven experience of full project life cycle delivery, including pre-sales and technical leadership
Demonstrated ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders through clear documentation and presentation
Experience working in professional services or consultancy environments
Confident leading delivery teams, ensuring quality and integration across technical streams
Strong understanding of configuration and customisation methods including business process flows, business rules, plugins, workflows, and JavaScript
Eligibility for SC Clearance (minimum 5 years UK residency and valid passport)
Desirable Skills
Experience with cutting-edge integrations such as AI, IoT, or RPA
Familiarity with government or public sector delivery environments
Certifications in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
Team Structure
You will join a collaborative consultancy team delivering services into a central government department.
