To assist the Legal Services Facilitator and Legal Services Team in providing comprehensive monitoring and tracking of all requests for the release of information in accordance with the provisions and deadlines of the General Data Protection Act (GDPR).
Responsible for ensuring daily priorities are set to ensure GDPR deadlines and those set by Court Orders and Police are met.
The post holder commits to uphold the values of the NHS and abide by the NHS Constitution.
Main duties of the job
To ensure effective monitoring and tracking of requests for healthcare records under GDPR deadlines, those requested by Defence Solicitors, Court Orders and Police Request deadlines.
To lead regular meetings within the team to establish the current position of open requests and identify any concerns or obstacles in deadlines being met.
To set weekly and daily priorities with Legal Services Administrator Assistants to ensure deadlines are met.
To be flexible in ensuring priorities are re-arranged where necessary to meet deadlines.
To escalate to the Legal Services Facilitator where necessary regarding any concerns around deadlines being met.

1. GCSE in Maths and English (A-C/4-9) or Functional Skills (level 2)
2. NVQ3 level Secretarial or Business Administrative qualification, or equivalent level of demonstrable experience (using the knowledge and skills criteria above)
