Qualifications and Training
Essential criteria
* BSc (Hons) or equivalent Occupational Therapy qualification
* HCPC Registration
Desirable criteria
* Attendance at specialist short courses relevant to the post e.g Dementia Care, Older People's Mental health
Experience
Essential criteria
* Post qualified experience within Older people's services
* Working within NHS Older People's services
* Application of core OT skills and OT process
* Multidisciplinary team working
Desirable criteria
* Relevant post-qualified OT experience in Mental Health
* Experience of supervising /co-supervising students Involvement in research and clinical audit
* Experience of supervision of students and staff
* Post qualified experience as an OT (or equivalent role) in a health or social care or 3rd sector setting
Knowledge and Skills
Essential criteria
* Understanding of Clinical and environmental risk
