We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Neonatal Nurse to join our dynamic and compassionate team at our Local Neonatal Unit Registered Nurse (RN) with valid NMC registration. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities under pressure Main duties of the job As a Band 6 Neonatal Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert care to neonates here at RBH. We have 16 cots with a breakdown of 2 ITU 6 HDU 8 SC. We also support a 5 bedded Transitional Care unit. You will be responsible for: Providing high-quality clinical care for all premature and critically ill, babies Monitoring and assessing, ensuring that timely interventions are completed and responding to changes in condition. Supporting and educating parents by helping them understand neonatal conditions, treatments, and providing emotional support. Collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team of doctors, other healthcare professionals and maternity to deliver the best possible care. Mentoring and developing junior staff and student nurses, ensuring the highest standards of practice.
