What you'll be doing
* Supporting residents, families, and colleagues as the person who makes things happen.
* Supporting enrichment and wellbeing activities on a weekly and monthly schedule, and getting to know residents to find out what makes them happy as individuals.
* Learning about residents' hobbies and interests and working with colleagues and families to ensure residents can continue doing what they love.
* Supporting daily activities and running events/activities in the home.
* Supporting colleagues' wellbeing and inspiring the home to foster a positive and creative living environment.
Could you be part of our team? About you:
* Excellent communication skills, passion, empathy, and a desire to make people's lives more enjoyable, rewarding, and fun.
* Excellent organisational skills, leadership experience, and the ability to motivate yourself.
* A good interest in the local area and knowledge of community groups, as residents enjoy days out and attending or organising events.
* Previous experience working or caring for people within a residential care setting or similar transferable skills.
* Good verbal and written communication skills, as you'll be responsible for care planning and activity engagement documentation.
