ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director of Operations, as F&B Coordinator you will play a central role in the day-to-day organisation of the food and beverage operation throughout the hotel.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, organised, and a great communicator!
As F&B Coordinator, key aspects of your role will include (but are not limited to):
1. Support managers across all of the hotel’s F&B venues, including SUSHISAMBA restaurant, W Lounge, Room Service and Event Operations
2. Manage the schedules of the hotel’s casual pool, ensuring the right resources are in the right place at the right time
3. Support HR and venue managers by ensuring weekly payroll reports run correctly
4. Answer phone calls and respond to emails related to group enquiries in venues
5. Provides necessary information to guest via telephone and email
6. Work with Finance and F&B managers to ensure financial information is recorded correctly
7. Supervise reservations platforms
8. Prepare reservation information for venue managers
9. Ensure sufficient menu and collateral stock in venues, placing required orders
10. Coordinate with Kitchen and Marketing for new menu launches
11. Support the Director of Operations with project-related work as required

13. Strong communication skills – both written and verbal English

15. Comfortable using computers and systems
16. The ability to be self-directed
17. The ability to prioritise tasks
18. Previous experience working in a front-of-house role is desirable
