KPMG’s Deal Execution practice is looking for exceptional candidates for an Associate Director role, with a technology, digital, AI and M&A specialisation.
The role offers an opportunity to accelerate career growth in a rapidly expanding ‘Technology in M&A’ market. The technology team within Deal Execution has experienced significant growth and is expected to double in size over the next three years. We deliver value by challenging conventional thinking, providing deep industry insights, and executing with investor-grade rigor.
Our diverse team of over 300 practitioners globally collaborates across KPMG’s broad Deal Advisory capabilities.
Effective Associate Directors in our Deal Execution team are expected to:
* Build deep client relationships and become a trusted advisor to senior executives
* Support business development activities, including pipeline management and client pursuit
* Develop expertise in chosen propositions and sectors
* Lead the design and delivery of complex engagements
* Manage scoping and fee negotiations
* Proactively develop thought leadership
* Maintain a strong internal and external network
* Understand and adhere to risk management frameworks
* Motivate, coach, and develop project team members
* Lead critical practice development initiatives

Candidates should demonstrate the following work experience:
* Experience with SAP ERP products, ideally in post-merger integration or carve-out scenarios
* Leadership of complex ERP projects with multidisciplinary teams
* Understanding of business processes and ERP modules
* Experience with data migration projects is preferred
* Ability to develop relationships with senior stakeholders and C-level clients
* Experience supporting acquisitions, divestitures, and transactions involving ERP integration or separation
* Knowledge of the deal lifecycle and IT’s role within it
* Capability to develop new ERP-focused products and revenue streams
* Self-motivation to innovate and expand ERP capabilities
* Ability to evaluate complex challenges and provide practical recommendations
