CCL are working with a global engineering company to recruit an experienced Facilities Management (FM) Transition Manager to lead and oversee the transition between FM service providers within a manufacturing environment. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the transition is delivered in line with agreed contractual terms, with no service disruption.
Working Pattern
- 3–4 days per week on-site in Stafford
- Flexibility required during key transition milestones
The successful candidate will act as the client-side lead, bringing strong expertise in complex FM environments and supplier transitions to provide hands-on management, oversight, and assurance throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the FM supplier transition, acting as the client-side Transition Manager
- Lead and oversee all transition activities, ensuring delivery aligns with contractual agreements
- Hold suppliers accountable and ensure a fair, transparent, and controlled transition process
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and gaps throughout the transition lifecycle
- Act as the primary interface between internal stakeholders and FM providers
- Establish and manage governance, reporting, and escalations
- Drive transition planning, mobilisation, and execution phases
- Ensure continuity of critical manufacturing operations, minimising disruption to production
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in a Transition Manager role within complex Facilities Management (FM) environments
- Strong track record of delivering FM supplier transitions (mobilisation and demobilisation)
- Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience working with major FM providers (e.g. CBRE, Equans, or similar)
- Working knowledge of TUPE regulations and their application within FM transitions
- Ability to challenge suppliers and stakeholders effectively while maintaining strong working relationships
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on risk control and delivery assurance
