About the Role
As a Digital Designer in our Creative team, you will deliver diverse and intricate digital projects for both healthcare clients and internal stakeholders. Your responsibilities include design, maintenance, and testing of websites and web applications, creation of interactive content for conferences and events, and digital marketing materials such as HTML emails, web banners and social media graphics. You will participate in every stage of the project lifecycle, from concept to production, collaborating with designers, project managers and clients, producing high‑quality design materials, providing technical insight, and offering guidance as needed. You’ll also support commercial and pro‑bono projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Create user‑friendly deliverables including websites, web applications, interactive content for external events and marketing materials.
* Collaborate with creative colleagues and project managers at project outset to define scope, purpose and strategy.
* Communicate project requirements clearly to teams and address technical queries.
* Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and at the highest quality.
* Provide outstanding customer service and build strong partnerships with internal teams and external clients.
Hybrid Working Policy
Work from home up to half of your time after probation, measured over a 2‑week rolling period. During probation (first 6 months) you may work from home one day per week.
Requirements
Essential:
* Degree‑level or higher qualification in a design‑related discipline (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) and a highly innovative portfolio.
* Some professional experience within an agency or commercial setting.
* Technical knowledge of email/web/application development and practical experience with HTML and CSS.
* Experience applying UI/UX design principles across a wide range of digital deliverables.
* Working knowledge of Figma or strong desire to learn.
* Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop (other Creative Suite software is advantageous).
* Problem‑solving mindset and out‑of‑the‑box thinking.
* Exceptional organisational and time‑management skills, high productivity, and flexibility to meet changing deadlines.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and ability to build robust, sustainable working relationships.
Desired:
* Practical understanding of Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
* Experience with search engine optimisation (SEO) and generative engine optimisation (GEO).
* Knowledge of omnichannel marketing and creative copywriting flair.
* Familiarity with basic JavaScript.
