Responsibilities:
* Lead electrical projects, ensuring timely delivery, within scope, and on budget.
* Coordinate with clients, main contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
* Attend project meetings to provide progress updates, resolve issues, and adapt plans as necessary.
* Identify and manage project risks, implementing cost-effective solutions and avoiding unnecessary expenses.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction.
* Manage material procurement and ensure that all equipment and components meet project specifications.
* Review electrical designs, technical specifications, and ensure compliance with mechanical standards and relevant regulations.
* Oversee the performance of on-site labour and subcontractors, ensuring work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards.
* Ensure effective team collaboration between electrical engineers, site managers, and procurement teams.
* Lead by example, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and quality.
Health, Safety & Compliance:
* Enforce all health and safety protocols on-site, ensuring full compliance with company and regulatory safety standards.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management within the electrical sector.
Qualifications:
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or equivalent safety certification.
