Legal Recruiter/Account Manager
London, Birmingham or Glasgow (3 days per week in the office)
Salary range starting at £60,000 a year
Role overview:
Vario is a market leading alternative legal services provider within the law firm, Pinsent Masons. It is unique in the legal sector. Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which incorporates; Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management and Managed Legal Services (MLS).
The Flexible Services team is expanding and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced legal recruiter to join our Flexible Services team as an Account Manager to support the work of Pinsent Masons' Energy practice in the UK. The Account Manager will be at the forefront of service delivery to our Energy clients and will provide interim resourcing solutions to our internal legal teams. This is a permanent position.
Daily responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
1. Building a candidate pool and identifying/developing opportunities to promote the Flexible Services offering within the internal Energy team, client portfolio and wider external market.
2. Liaising with clients and candidates to match them to assignments.
3. Undertaking assignment briefs and debriefs with clients.
4. Preparing candidates for their assignments.
5. Leading on assignment activity and implementing strategic resourcing plans.
6. Preparing fee proposals.
7. Overseeing compliance activity for assignments.
8. Taking a lead in fulfilment best practice, driving consistency and quality of service.
9. Supporting with business development activity and projects including new client solutions, training programmes and technology.
Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.
Candidate overview:
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
10. Previous experience of working within or closely with, a legal service provider or an in-house legal team.
11. Legal or professional services recruitment experience.
12. Business development experience.
13. Understanding of the alternative legal services market and/or Energy sector.
