Job Description We seek a confident professional to join a leading retail brand in Salford Quays (Manchester). They are now looking to appoint a Policy Advisor who will play a crucial role in the business, supporting and coaching managers, providing high-level advice and guidance on people management and policy and decision making.
Part of the role will also involve supporting line managers and promoting a positive employee relationship environment. You will partner with key HR Business partners to keep them informed of your day-to-day assigned cases.
You will provide accurate advice across all people policies and provide support to management for long-term absence for cases.
Coach and develop line management to deliver good people management.
Building effective line management relationships
Work closely with the ER case managers to assist with queries about cases.
Skills Required:
HR experience and knowledge.
Up-to-date knowledge of employee relations, policies and processes.
Excellent stakeholder management skills.
High-levels of communication skills.
Experience in another retail industry.
Experience as an advisor or policy expert.
