What your days could look like: Maintenance Assistant: Routine Inspections: Conduct regular checks and maintenance on equipment, machinery and systems to ensure they are in good working order. Repairs and Troubleshooting: Perform minor repairs, adjustments and troubleshooting of faulty equipment or machinery. Cleaning and Upkeep: Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas, ensuring proper storage of tools and equipment. Inventory Management: Monitor and report on the condition of maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering new items as needed. General Facility Maintenance: Assist in the upkeep of buildings and surrounding areas (e.g., painting, basic plumbing or carpentry tasks). Safety Compliance: Ensure that safety standards are followed, reporting any hazards or safety concerns. Driver: Transporting Goods or Personnel: Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, materials, or staff as needed. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic checks and maintenance on the vehicles e.g., oil changes, tyre pressure, fluid levels and report any significant issues. Keep all vehicles clean, always hoovered and fuelled-up. Route Planning: Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries or arrivals. Documentation: Maintain accurate records for vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle-related expenses. Adherence to Regulations: Comply with traffic laws, road safety, and company vehicle policies. Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading goods or equipment when required. What you offer A full, clean driving licence Experience in a similar industry, preferably hospitality Knowledge of the current health and safety legislation for both driving and maintenance tasks. The ability to diagnose and repair day-to-day mechanical/practical problems and make necessary repairs correctly and safely.
