Job Title: KS2 SEN Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Brightlingsea Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored educational support to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) through outreach tuition. Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities. Deliver engaging and interactive teaching sessions to promote academic progress and personal development. Ensure holistic support for SEN students. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively. Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting. Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions. Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Experience: At least 2 years of experience working as a tutor or teacher in a primary school setting. Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of the UK National Curriculum and assessment frameworks. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of SEN students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Organisational skills and the ability to work independently. Training in specific interventions for SEN students. Working Conditions: Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling. Work primarily in educational settings such as schools, community centres or learners homes. Potential travel within the East of England region for outreach sessions.
