The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they deliver high quality service with a "right first time" approach. MOT experince is preferred but not compulsory. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive mechanics and a commitment to delivering a high standard to join the team.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues and safety concernsPerform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical componentsCarry out MOT testing in compliance with legal and safety requirements. (Training is available if the candidate is not already qualified to complete MOTs).Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and diagnosticsMaintain accurate records of all work carried out and parts usedEnsure workshop cleanliness and adhere to health and safety regulations at all timesAssist colleagues with complex repairs when requiredManage heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate techniques and equipmentSkillsStrong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose faults efficientlyProficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repair tasksExperience in performing MOT tests is xcunqrw highly desirable but not compulsoryAbility to lift heavy objects safely and handle physically demanding tasksExcellent organisational skills with attention to detailGood communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customersAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamThis role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills within the automotive industry while contributing to a professional team dedicated to quality service.
