Are you an experienced DevOps Engineer with active DV clearance and strong Kubernetes skills?
Our client, a leading organisation operating within the technology and defence sector, is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join their established team on-site in Malvern.

The Role:
You will play a crucial role in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of robust software systems and infrastructure.
Leveraging your expertise in automation, CI/CD, and containerisation (specifically Kubernetes), you will collaborate closely with software development teams to ensure efficient, secure, and reliable software releases.
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing, building, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines.
* Managing, scaling, and optimising Kubernetes (K8s) clusters and containerised applications.
* Implementing and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) using relevant automation tools (eg, Ansible, Terraform).
* Ensuring system security, reliability, and performance within a high-integrity environment.
* Automating operational tasks, monitoring, and alerting.
* Collaborating with development teams throughout the software life cycle (SDLC).
* Troubleshooting complex infrastructure and application issues.
* Contributing to continuous improvement of workflows and technology adoption.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* MUST hold current, active Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. (Candidates without this cannot be considered).
* Proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer.
* Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) implementation and management.
* Solid understanding and practical experience with CI/CD principles and tools (eg, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
* Experience with automation and configuration management tools (eg, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).
* Proficiency in Scripting languages (eg, Python, Bash).
* Familiarity with software security best practices and secure development life cycles.
* Experience working across the full SDLC.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience working within secure/defence sector environments.
* Broader containerisation experience (eg, Docker).
* Experience with various monitoring and logging tools (eg, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
* Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Relevant certifications (eg, CKA/CKAD).
