IR35: Inside Our Client has a requirement for a Lead Architect, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Sellafield. minimum 2 days per week site attendance Role Purpose: Lead Architect reporting to the CS&A Discipline Lead Engineer and Site Engineering Manager, responsible for delivering architectural design assurance, documentation, compliance, and technical support across a major nuclear project. Job Role Responsibilities: Completion of Building Regulations Report Completion of Operations and Maintenance Report Responding to architectural Technical Queries, Product Permits, and Concessions (site and vendor) Attendance at weekly client meetings and design reviews Management of fire-related design issues and associated documentation Room completions and handover to commissioning teams Checking and approving architectural drawings and specifications Ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 (Designer duties) Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications: Degree qualified: BA (Hons) DipArch / BArch (Bachelor of Architecture) or equivalent Registered with ARB and member of RIBA Strong communication, analytical, and team working skills Proactive self-starter with strong delivery focus Working knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 Experience with specification writing using NBS IOSH Working/Managing Safely (preferred, not essential at start) Nuclear experience advantageous Company information At First Recruitment Group we understand just how important it is to secure the right people.
