We have some Halloween events which we need volunteers to cover over the half term week from 28-31 October and you will be able to stay on as a Safemates Volunteer beyond these dates. **What is Safemates** We all need to relax and have fun, but sometimes things don't go according to plan. Could you be there to support other young people when they need help? You might be providing a listening ear, getting medical help for someone or raising awareness of the risky activities. Every shift has different challenges but end with the reward of knowing you have helped people when they need it. You need to be 16-25 to take on this role. **You must live in the area specified which is in Northern Ireland**
Why we want you: We need volunteers to support others to stay safe. You will be part of a team providing wellbeing and emotional support to other young people. You will listen to them and tell them about organisations who can give them extra support. You might do this on campus or at other events in our Safe Hubs. You will be part of a team giving wellbeing and emotional support so that young people can enjoy their free time safely.
