Job Description:
Leonardo has a fantastic opportunity for a Demonstration Lead to join a new department focused on the development of Synthetics, Digital Products, and Services. This role will be a key part of a transformative capability within our Electronics UK Division, influencing Leonardo UK.
As the Demonstration Lead, you will take a leadership role in creating, iterating, and enhancing synthetics-centric demonstrations to showcase the evolving design and strategic direction across the Electronics Division in the UK, impacting the design of Synthetics across UK Divisions.
The successful candidate will leverage their skills to assemble demonstrations of varying complexity and scale within short timelines to meet specific objectives.
What you will do
1. Lead the definition and implementation of synthetics-centric demonstrations aligned with capability development needs.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders across the Electronics Division to understand design implications as they mature into implementation.
3. Work with other Digital Products and Services Systems Leads to develop capabilities and prepare for future products, reporting to the Chief Systems Engineer.
4. Develop relationships with internal teams to facilitate successful demonstrations.
5. Support the Synthetics Design Lead in building external partnerships and relationships.
6. Conduct demonstrations according to defined objectives and evaluate outcomes against established criteria.
7. Lead the delivery and review of demonstrations.
What we are looking for
* Proven experience in delivering synthetics-centric demonstrations using hardware, software, infrastructure, and facilities under tight deadlines.
* Deep understanding of tools, methodologies, and processes in the synthetics domain.
* Experience with agile working methodologies.
* Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in complex projects.
* Experience in prototyping and iterative development of demonstrations.
* Ability to manage conflicting priorities and stakeholder expectations.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Eligibility to obtain SC or higher clearance for UK programs.
* Degree or equivalent in Systems, Software, Mathematics, or related STEM fields.
* Understanding of future trends in synthetics-centric technologies.
* Knowledge of UK MOD policies related to synthetics.
* Experience in requirements definition, systems verification, and validation.
