We're looking for a strong, people-focused Front Line Manager (Logistics) to lead the Radial & Primary shift within our 24/7 Bradford operation.This is a key leadership role where you'll manage, develop and motivate your team to deliver safe, compliant and operationally excellent logistics performance. You'll ensure finished goods are supplied to customers efficiently through effective transport management, network planning and strong supply chain processes.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Driving full compliance with transport legislation and Operator Licence requirementsManaging driver hours, tachograph compliance and vehicle defectsPromoting a strong "Safety First" culture across your team
Monitoring and improving KPIs including A–G driver performance, MPG, utilisation and accident cost per mileLeading continuous improvement initiativesManaging resources effectively to control costs and deliver service excellence
Coaching and developing your team to achieve high performanceBuilding strong cross-functional relationshipsCreating an engaged, empowered and accountable culture
About YouEssential:
CAT C or C+E licence and Driver CPC
Logistics / transport experience
Strong leadership and coaching capabilityKnowledge of SAP, tachograph and telematics systems
Excellent communication skills
Strong commitment to Health & Safety
Desirable:
ILM Level 2/3Transport Manager CPC – Road Haulage
