We are looking for a Business Interruption Consultant who will provide clients with guidance on Property Damage Business Interruption (PDBI) insurance to support full recovery after a property damage event. As a BI Consultant, you will support PDBI / Property insurance placement activities across GB Retail.
* Combine potential business, financial, and operational impacts with sound financial modelling to assess potential losses and impact on insurable gross profit, revenue, and costs.
* Support new business opportunities, focusing on driving New New (NN) and New From Existing (NFE) business to achieve better results.
This role is home-based with travel to WTW offices, clients, and prospects throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-loss PDBI reviews to help clients understand their potential financial exposures in case of a loss.
* Consider business activities, inter-dependencies, logistics, supply chains, recovery timeframes, business continuity plans, indemnity periods, trading losses, Maximum Foreseeable Loss (MFL), Estimated Maximum Loss (EML), Normal Loss Expectancy (NLE), Insurable Gross Profit, Increased Cost of Working (ICOW), and Additional Increased Cost of Working (AICOW).
* Facilitate workshop exercises and provide expert advice on BI insurance using your knowledge.
* Work with GB Retail clients to identify and evaluate their BI exposures, providing constructive challenge when needed.
* Identify sales opportunities and generate revenue aligned with GB Retail budget goals.
* Leverage your expertise to develop new business opportunities.
* Maintain a high profile externally and internally, collaborating seamlessly with colleagues in Risk Management and Account Management teams.
* Stay updated on evolving BI and claims methodologies.
