Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: England, Greater London, Romford Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £13.67 - £15.00 Per hour Job Duties: Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities Assist in the implementation of individual education plans Help students with academic tasks and provide guidance on study skills Support the classroom teacher in managing student behaviour Monitor and record student progress Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience working with children or individuals with special educational needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Previous experience working with children or individuals with special educational needs Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of the needs of students with learning difficulties or disabilities Ability to provide academic support and guidance Good organisational skills Patience and empathy Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools First Aid certification Working Conditions: Work in a school setting Regular hours, Monday to Friday Potential for some additional hours or activities All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
