Your 8 month training programme includes a blend of theoretical and practical learning delivered at our Training Academy in Ashton in Makerfield and with our apprentice training partner in Stockport, complemented by in-field coaching alongside your field supervisor.

What You’ll Receive
1. Full, structured training to become a fully qualified Smart Meter Engineer
2. Industry recognised qualifications, Gas Safe registration, and EUSR accreditation
3. Starting training salary: £26,227
4. Salary increasing incrementally through your training period to £41,204 once qualified and working independently.

Our Ideal Candidate
You will:
16. Live in one of the following postcode areas: CA, LA, FY, PR, BL, M, SK, BB
17. Have Maths & English at Level 2 (GCSE equivalent)
18. Hold a full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
19. Be able to pass a DBS/basic criminal record check
20. Be physically able to lift equipment and pass a colour vision assessment
21. Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
