DegreeSix is a specialist agency, working solely with Residential & Supported Living services for Young People [aged 6 – ] in some of the top private Social Care providers in the Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire area.
This role is an agency, 0 hour, support worker role offering flexibility to pick and choose shifts among various companies. Unfortunately, we do not offer guaranteed work.
We are looking for support workers who have the knowledge, compassion, patience, and understanding to support, enrich, and promote the independence of vulnerable Young People.
* Emotional and Challenging Behaviours (EBD)
* Learning Disabilities (LD) & Autism
* Mental Health (MH) – Self harm & Suicide risk among others
What does the role include?
* Maintaining domestic tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and positive living environment
* Following care plans and safeguarding practices
* Engagement through fun and educational activities to develop interests and hobbies
* Organizing fun day trips such as theme parks, seaside visits, parks, and more
* Promoting independence and providing emotional support
