Working Hours
Monday to Thursday 8.00 – 4.45, Friday 8.00 – 3.45.
Job Description
Stannah is recruiting ambitious apprentices to join our Maintenance and Repair division. The role involves shadowing qualified engineers, attending distance learning, on‑site training and continuing education while earning a starting salary of £17,679, reviewed regularly based on performance.
Responsibilities
* Shadow qualified engineers assisting with servicing and repair of lifts.
* Attend distance learning courses and complete coursework on time and to a high standard.
* Attend training and mentoring sessions, both in person and online.
* Participate in at least 20% off‑the‑job training.
* Demonstrate the aptitude and behaviours of a future Stannah Lift Engineer.
Training and Development
* Duration of 40 months.
* A mix of practical, mentoring and structured learning at our training centre.
* Achieve a qualification in Lift Engineering.
Qualifications
* Minimum GCSE Grade 4 – 9 (A‑C) passes in Maths and English.
* KEEN interest in engineering or practical experience in a related role.
* Valid driving licence or working towards one.
