Job title: Project Manager
Location: Glasgow - hybrid working arrangement – 3 days per week on site

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the delivery and maintenance of test solutions, coordinate with engineering and production teams, manage stakeholders, and drive process improvements. Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* Coordinate delivery of reliable test equipment across engineering, production, procurement, and project management teams within the Air Domain.
* Lead the full lifecycle of test equipment projects, including requirements definition, integration, validation, and acceptance.
* Develop and manage project plans, ensuring effective control of scope, schedule, cost, risks, and governance.
* Oversee quality assurance and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
* Track and optimise performance metrics for test equipment uptime and throughput, resolving issues swiftly.
* Drive process improvements and continuous collaboration, addressing gaps and sharing lessons learned across projects.
* Build trust with stakeholders and represent projects in governance reviews, ensuring compliance with Thales processes and promoting accountability.
About You:
* We are looking for a fully established Project Manager with a track record of delivering successful complex projects, ideally in the manufacturing, engineering or defence sector.
* Strong customer and supplier and stakeholder management skills.
* Directing project activities with reference to the baseline and critical path, with a focus on proactive risk and opportunity management and controlling variance to time/cost/quality
* Project financial and contractual management
* Working across functional boundaries to achieve alignment and support for project objectives
* Demand/business planning principles in a project context with a focus on the reliable forecasting of resource requirements (including critical skills) and working with adjacent functions to schedule those appropriately
* Representing projects through established governance, giving an evidence-based account of progress and distilling key risks/opportunities/support needed for Senior Management
