We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Linux Engineer to join our established Service Support team in Stevenage. This is a customer-facing, on-site position supporting live, mission-critical IT services for a high-profile client. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring system performance, availability, and continuous improvement in a secure and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide effective support for Linux-based systems and associated services
2. Investigate, resolve, and document system incidents and requests in line with SLAs and KPIs
3. Implement configuration changes and automation solutions
4. Collaborate with internal teams and customers to maintain system health and service quality
