Job Description
Policy and Public Affairs Manager
Hybrid
Responsibilities:
* Lead the charity's public affairs initiatives across the devolved nations
* Develop important policy positions through analysing data and evidence
* Produce high-quality policy briefings, reports and consultation responses
* Track and monitor policy developments
* Build relationships with key external stakeholders, including government departments, not-for-profit organisations and those with lived experiences
* Work and build relationships with MPs and civil servants, attending APPGs and select committees in parliament
* Work closely and collaborate with other teams within the charity

Essential:
* Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
* Excellent working knowledge of Westminster and Whitehall
* Ability to produce high quality, evidence based internal and external briefing materials under time constraints
* Experience developing influencing strategies and public affairs campaigns
